Standard cleaning, sometimes called maintenance cleaning, is built around that idea. Instead of a marathon session to catch up on everything at once, we come back on a schedule that matches how you actually live, and every visit follows the same reliable checklist.

What counts as a standard clean

A standard visit covers the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas using the same checklist every time. Counters get wiped, appliance exteriors get cleaned, toilets and showers get scrubbed, floors get vacuumed and mopped, and surfaces get dusted. It is not a deep clean (that means baseboards, window sills, and the inside of cabinets are not part of the standard checklist), but it is exactly what most homes need to stay presentable week after week.

Why frequency changes the price

Jacksonville's humidity means dust, pollen, and mildew build up faster here than in drier climates, which is part of why the interval between cleanings matters so much for both the home and the price. A home cleaned every week rarely has stubborn buildup, so each visit takes a predictable amount of time, and that consistency is reflected in the biggest discount we offer. Stretch the interval to monthly or a one-time visit, and there is simply more ground to cover each time, so the price sits closer to full rate.

Choosing the right frequency for your home

Households with pets, young kids, or high foot traffic usually do best on a weekly or biweekly schedule, since dirt and clutter accumulate faster. A couple or single person in a smaller home can often get away with monthly visits and still keep things looking great. If you are not sure where you land, we are happy to recommend a starting frequency and adjust after the first month based on how the home actually looks between visits.

First-time clients

If it has been a while since your home had a real clean, or you are starting with us for the first time, we usually recommend beginning with a deep clean and then transitioning into a standard maintenance schedule. That way every recurring visit starts from a genuinely clean baseline instead of trying to catch up on months of buildup during a standard-length visit.
